Holiday Accommodation Terms & Conditions

Please take a moment to read these terms and conditions carefully. By making a booking, all guests acknowledge and agree to the following. For any questions or clarifications, please Yarrawonga Mulwala Holiday Rentals on (03) 5744 1989.

Bookings
Your reservation is made through Yarrawonga Mulwala Tourism & Business (YMTB), acting on behalf of the property owner.

Keys
A call-out fee of $110 applies if a duplicate key is required. If a key cannot be provided, guests are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of a locksmith. Please do not attempt to force entry. Keys must be returned as instructed; any lost or unreturned keys may incur charges for re-entry, replacements, or lock changes.

Smoking & Vaping
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside all properties, including balconies and shared indoor spaces. Breach of this policy will result in a cleaning fee.

Pets
Pets are welcome only at designated pet-friendly properties, and only with prior approval. If pets are found at a property without authorisation or at a non-pet-friendly accommodation, a cleaning fee will apply for any resulting mess or damage.

Changes to Bookings
In rare cases, circumstances such as property repairs, changes in ownership, or withdrawal from rental may occur. If so, we will offer a comparable alternative where possible. If no alternative is available, a full refund will be provided, which you agree is a fair and final resolution.

No Party & Guest Conduct Policy

Yarrawonga Mulwala Holiday Rentals has a strict no party or event policy.

  • The number of guests must not exceed the amount stated on your booking, unless approved in writing.
  • Unauthorised guests or gatherings may result in cancellation, eviction, and forfeiture of all payments.
  • Please be considerate of neighbours, especially after 9:00 PM, and keep noise to a respectful level at all times.

Breaches may result in immediate eviction without refund and additional charges for:

  • Excessive cleaning
  • Property damage
  • Security or staff callouts
  • Council fines

These costs may be deducted from your security deposit or charged to the credit card on file.



Payment & Cancellation Policy

A deposit equal to the first night’s stay is required to confirm your booking.

Cancellations:

  • More than 30 days before arrival: deposit is fully refundable.
  • Between 15 and 30 days: deposit is forfeited as a cancellation fee.
  • Within 14 days of arrival: no refund unless the property is rebooked.
  • All cancellations incur a $150 administration fee.

Note: Yarrawonga Mulwala Holiday Rentals does not offer refunds or reschedule bookings due to weather, travel delays, or natural events. Travel insurance is strongly recommended. No refunds will be given for early departures, late arrivals, or unused nights.

Payments
All payments must be made by credit card online or by phone. A non-refundable service fee applies. If payments are not received by the due date, the booking will be cancelled.

Security Deposit & Credit Card Authorisation

A $500 security deposit (pre-authorised to your credit card) is required before arrival. This is a hold only and will be released within 7–10 business days after departure, provided there are no issues.

By booking, you authorise Yarrawonga Mulwala Holiday Rentals to charge your card for:

  • Excessive cleaning
  • Damage or theft
  • Unauthorised pets or smoking
  • Lost/unreturned keys or items
  • Rubbish removal
  • Repairs due to guest misuse

If costs exceed the $500 hold, you agree to pay the additional amount. We’re happy to provide supporting documentation (photos, invoices, etc.) upon request.

Property Descriptions
We make every effort to ensure property listings are accurate. However, occasional updates or changes may occur.

Wildlife
Many properties are located in natural or rural areas. While we maintain them regularly, insects, rodents, or native animals may occasionally be present. We appreciate your understanding.

Property Access
Our team may need to access the property for essential maintenance or safety reasons. We will always provide notice wherever possible.

Utilities & Services
While we strive to ensure uninterrupted access to electricity, gas, water, and internet, occasional outages may occur due to circumstances beyond our control. If anything isn’t working properly, please contact us and we’ll respond as quickly as we can.
