Meet Emily – Accommodation Operator, Consultant & Mentor

With over two decades in the accommodation industry, I provide consulting and mentoring to help owners and managers put simple systems in place, so their property runs more smoothly, improves occupancy and revenue, and feels more manageable in day-to-day operations. My work is grounded in practical, real-world support, helping operators understand their business, streamline operations, and build results that are both achievable and sustainable.

My goal is to simplify the complexities of running an accommodation business, so owners and managers gain confidence, clarity, and lasting results. While I stay current with technology and industry trends, I believe the heart of great hospitality lies in combining modern systems with the traditional, home-style service that guests remember. This is especially prevalent in regional areas such as our beautiful region of Yarrawonga and Mulwala. It’s this balance that has guided my success  and the success of the operators I’ve supported.

My experience spans managing properties of all sizes  from small country motels to large city operations, both across Australia and overseas. Having worked across all areas of hospitality and tourism, I understand the many roles an accommodation operator must fill and help businesses navigate these demands in a structured and efficient way.

As an active contributor to the industry, I regularly share practical insights at conferences such as Golden Chain and No Vacancy, focusing on real-world strategies that support stronger performance and more manageable operations.

Collaboration is central to my approach. I value building connections within the industry and supporting businesses to adapt to change while achieving steady, long-term success.
