The Cellar Never Sleeps: Secrets, Stories & Fortifieds After Dark @ Stanson & Killeen

Part of the Dark Side of Wine Festival, a 10-night celebration of wine, food and unique after-dark experiences across the Rutherglen Wine Region each August, The Cellar Never Sleeps invites guests to explore the historic Stanton & Killeen winery by candlelight. 

This immersive evening uncovers the stories, secrets and traditions behind one of Rutherglen’s most celebrated wine families, with a guided tour through the winery’s oldest corners followed by a tasting of iconic fortified wines. Guests will also enjoy a rare opportunity to sample a 1980 Muscat straight from the barrel in the winery’s hidden speakeasy.

Blending history, storytelling and exceptional fortified wines, this exclusive after-dark experience offers a unique glimpse into the heart of Rutherglen’s winemaking heritage.
