Your destination for history & fabulous food. Home to
multiple award-winning wines.
Established in Rutherglen in 1921 by Reginald Langdon
Buller, the ‘Calliope Vineyard’ was named after the only surviving ship from
the Great Hurricane of Samoa - 1889. A.B. (Banjo) Patterson’s ‘Ballad Of The
Calliope’, tells the tale in stirring fashion. Reginald’s vision of his new
enterprise successfully sailing through the tempests of business and
agricultural life proved prophetic. After almost 100 years Buller Wines is
testament to the foresight of Reginald and is a leading winery within North
East Victoria.
At Buller Wines, produce intensely flavoured grapes which
are then developed into premium, full-bodied wines. Their Cellar Door boasts an
extensive range of wines including new-age bubbles and our hand-crafted
Calliope Range. Experience the pure indulgence of thier Rare Muscat and Tokay
which are both rated 100/100 by Robert Parker.
Meals and snacks are available at the onsite. Please contact
