Many older locals and visitors alike would remember the Olde Yarrawonga Mine display that was in the centre back in the 1990's. This incredible display was donated from his private collection by Yarrawonga local Dean Briggs. The display remained at the Information Centre for many years before it closure, then being stored safely by the shire. In 2018/2019 the Yarrawonga Historical Society took possession of the collection where it went on full display at the Pioneer Museum in Mulwala, where it still remains today. (Museum temporarily closed to public)
