HOOFS2010 mission is to rescue the Brumbies that are headed for slaughter and to stop aerial culling. It is our aim to find an environmentally responsible solution to the limiting of the Brumby population without the need for cruel and inhumane methods, to preserve our living heritage and to show that the removal of our wild horses from the Feral Animal register is imperative and their survival is relevant to our future.

HOOFS2010 Inc is a not-for-profit, registered charity with DGR Endorsement. We rescue Brumbies that are heading for slaughters both for the HOOFS2010 Sanctuary and on behalf of private rescuers. Our Brumbies are recorded with the Southern Cross Brumby Register and brand with the Southern Cross brand along with gelding the colts and handling the Brumbies for Rehoming on life lease to responsible new owners.

Our Brumbies are rehomed on a life lease with no application fees. to apply send an expression of interest and visit the Sanctuary to meet our residents, if you wish to apply to home one of our Brumbies you will need to provide two written references from a professional in the equine industry.

Once approved you will need to provide all original documents and a signed lease agreement, Approval is complete when all documents are completed as required we will then let you know to arrange collection of your chosen horse.
