Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Yarrawonga Mulwala Visitor Information Centre in conjunction with Yarrawonga Mulwala Tourism & Business (YMTB) is working closely with Victoria Tourism Industry Council, Visit Victoria and Murray Regional Tourism to bring you the most updated travel information. We are following the advice and regulations set out by the World Health Organisation, Australian Government and Department of Health & Human Services Victoria. However, everyone is encouraged to exercise personal responsibility for personal hygiene and social distancing to prevent community transmission.
We understand that these are uncertain times and many of you will be feeling the impact of the recent regulations put in place to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Yarrawonga Mulwala Visitor Information Centre remains open for business with individual operators updating their business operations to suit current conditions. We will continue to provide you with the most updated information as we receive it and are continuing to monitor the ongoing changes.

The NSW & Victorian Government also announced the following updates, amendments and restrictions now enforced which affect operations in Yarrawonga, Bundalong and Mulwala.
NSW will temporarily shut its border with Victoria to contain the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health and jobs of NSW citizens. The closure will be effective from 12.01am Wednesday, 8 July 2020. If you are eligible; Apply for a COVID-19 NSW border entry permit here.
People who are at high risk of COVID-10 infection include:
- people aged 70 years and over
- people aged 65 years and over with chronic medical conditions
- people with a compromised immune system
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples 50 years and older with one or more chronic medical conditions.
If you are in one of these groups, follow the guidance for vulnerable people.
